Menus Tutorial

Overview

  • Menus are built in two layers:
    • Menu Groups hold the menu items, for example, Accounting or Workflow.
    • Menu Templates combine Menu Groups into a menu and are assigned to users.
  • Each item and group can appear on the Main Menu only, or also on the Tile Menu.
  • For every field and option, see Menus.
Note

Setting up menus needs Setups > Menu Manager > Access Allowed (see How to Edit User Settings). Menu changes appear after BOS Enterprise is restarted.

💡These tutorials explain how to create Menu Groups and add items to them, build Menu Templates, assign them to users, and preview, copy or delete them.
