Goods Issued Tutorial
Overview
In QuickEasy BOS Enterprise, transactions may be created to issue, receive, and return inventory. Inventory can consist of raw materials or finished goods. Inventory can also be manufactured where the individual raw material items are received, and the finished goods are issued back to stock or to a customer.
These tutorials focus on issuing inventory, known as Goods Issued. It explains how to view, customise, and create Goods-Issued transactions.

How to Display a List of Goods Issued Transactions
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Click Menu (button) > Transactions.
- Apply any of the Filters.
- Click View (button).
How to Display a Summary of Goods Issued Transactions
ℹ️ This display is a summary of the Goods Issued transactions. To change the summary, change the filters on the list of Goods Issued transactions.
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Click Menu (button) > Summary.
- Click View (button).
How to Display a List of Goods Issued Items
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Click Menu (button) > Items.
- Apply any of the Filters.
- Click View (button).
How to Display the Goods Issued Board
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Click Menu (button) > Board: Status, or
- Click Menu (button) > Board: Due Date.
- Click Menu (button) > Board: Condensed View to hide or show the transaction details like Due Dates.
- Click View (button).
How to Set the Column Width on the Goods Issued Board
- Display the Goods Issued Board.
- On the top row, there is a number in the block between All Reps and Columns:
- Increase that number to make the column wider.
- Decrease that number to make the column narrower.
- You can overtype the number or use the arrows on the number.
How to Set the Default View for Goods Issued
ℹ️ This procedure sets the view for when you first open Goods Issued.
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Select any one of the displays (as explained above: Transactions, Items, Summary, or Board).
- Click Menu (button) > Set Default View.
How to Customise the Display Filters: Adding Filters
ℹ️ This process lets you customise filters for the Goods Issued display screens. This feature is only available when viewing Transactions or Items.
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Click the arrow on View (button) and click the Filter you want to modify.
- Click the arrow on View (button) > Actions > Add > Type in a filter you want to add in the block (e.g. Today) and press Enter.
- Note: This function will add the filter at the bottom of the list of filters, and add it to the filter you chose in Step 2.
How to Customise the Display Filters: Removing Filters
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Click the arrow on View (button) and select the Filter you want to delete.
- Click the arrow on the View (button) > Actions > Delete.
- Confirm the deletion on the popup.
How to Customise the Display: Setting Default
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Click the arrow on View (button) and select the Filters you want to apply by default.
- Click the arrow on the View (button) > Actions > Set Default.
How to Customise the Summary Chart of Goods Issued
- Display a Goods Issued Summary.
- Click Customize Chart and change the settings:
- Series (tab): Click the months to include or exclude them (a checkmark = included).
- Series (tab): Select a month to sort the list by from the dropdown list.
- Data Groups: Unavailable.
- Options: Select a position and alignment for the Legend, Title, and Toolbox.
- Options: Click Value Hints to show or hide the hints (a checkmark = shown).
- Click the Column Diagram and select a different chart type from the pop-up list of available charts.
- Note: Not all charts will work with the data. If no chart is displayed, please choose a different chart.

How to View Additional Reports from a Goods Issued Transaction List
ℹ️ The same list of summaries is available from the Menu (button) of a Goods Issued transaction (i.e. when you are editing or creating the transaction).
- Display a list of Goods Issued transactions.
- Right-click any entry, click Summaries on the context menu and select one of these options:
- Customer Summary
- Asset Summary
- Linked Transactions
- Outstanding
- Audits
- E-mails
How to View Transaction Information from a Goods Issued Transaction List
ℹ️ There are additional options to view the Item Summary and Notes & Attachments from the right-click context menu when editing or creating a Goods Issued transaction.
- Display a list of Goods Issued Transactions.
- Right-click any entry, and click an option on the context menu:
- Open Transaction: Opens the transaction.
- Open Transaction Dashboard: Opens a dashboard displaying information like an Audit Trail, Cost Summary, and a list of Linked Transactions.
- Open Notes & Attachments: Will open any Notes and Attachments to the right of the Goods Issued display.
- Note: The Notes and Attachments are also displayed on the Transaction Dashboard.
How to Email a List of Goods Issued
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Display a list of Transactions or Items.
- Click Menu (button) > Email Excel to open your default email template with the list attached in .xlsx format.
How to Export a List of Goods Issued
- Navigate to Goods Issued.
- Display a list of Transactions or Items.
- Click Menu (button) > Export Grid and choose a save location for the .xlsx file on the server.
How to Print, Preview or Email a Goods Issued Note for Signature
- Display a list of Goods Issued transactions.
- Click the applicable transaction.
- Click Output (button).
How to Email or Export a Goods Issued Summary
- Display a Goods Issued Summary.
- Click Output (button) > Email Excel to open your default email template with the summary attached in .xlsx format, or
- Click Output (button) > Export Grid to choose a save location for the .xlsx summary on the server.
How to Export or Print a Summary Chart of Goods Issued
- Display a Goods Issued Summary.
- Click Output (button) > Print Chart.
- Click Save, or Print on the popup.
