Output Data Pipelines

💡These lists show the Data Pipelines that Output Templates can use. A Data Pipeline is a set of data, for example, a transaction's header details or its items. In the template designer, the pipelines are listed in the Data Tree.

Info
  • Only the pipelines of the module you output from are available. For example, a transaction template can use the transaction pipelines, but not the Ledger pipelines.
  • Some pipelines only return data when the feature is used, for example, the estimate pipelines on transactions with estimates.
  • Only the fields that the developers have exposed are available in a pipeline.
  • The totals, deposit and estimate parameter fields are explained under Transactions.

Estimate Parameters on a Template

  • You can place estimate parameters as individual fields on a template with the Est_Params pipeline.
  • The form designer reads the fields from the Output Template you opened, so open the template from a transaction with an estimate item that has parameters.
  • If the transaction has no estimate parameters, selecting Est_Params in the Data Tree shows a 'SQL statement cannot be empty' error.
  • Each parameter's field name is P followed by the parameter's ID, for example, P12.
  • The values are those of the transaction item being output.

The parameter types included are:

  • Numbers: Input - Est. Qty, Input - Number, Input - Select Number, Calc - Numerical and Calc - Estimate Qty.
  • Text: Input - Text, Input - Number > Text, Calc - Text and Items (the material name).

Services are not estimate parameters. They are in the Est_Services, Est_Service_Mat and Est_Service_Ser pipelines.
