The Calendar shows events for resources, such as users and planning board stages, side by side. Resources are arranged in resource groups, set up in Calendar Setup.
Events come from three places: events you add in the calendar, appointments on workflows, and items on transactions.
A transaction's items appear when the Transaction Type has Update Calendar selected and the item has an Event Type, a Resource, and a start and end (Event Start and Event End, or Check in and Check out).
Moving or changing a transaction or workflow event in the calendar updates the item it comes from.
When a transaction is cancelled, its events are removed from the calendar. They come back if the transaction's status changes from Cancelled again.
Until you save a layout, the Calendar shows only your own resource.
Delete Group: Deletes the resource group after you confirm ("Delete Group?"). A group with resources cannot be deleted; the message "The selected Resource Group is in use and may not be deleted." appears.
Save Grid: Saves your grid layout.
