Mobile App: Timekeeping

Overview

Use this module to record Timekeeping in BOS Enterprise for Travel and Work. Timekeeping can be linked to Projects (Tasks), Transactions or linked to a Customer (unlinked). When you log time against Travel, you can also record your opening and closing odometer readings, which BOS uses to calculate the kilometres travelled.

This timekeeping feature is ideal for:

  • Businesses that pay their contractors or consultants an hourly rate and want to keep track of the time and costs.
  • Businesses that charge for their services by the hour or by using service-level agreements. They can have a record of travel time, distance and time spent at the customer's premises.

Timekeeping records captured in the Mobile App, are recorded in BOS Enterprise (desktop app) simultaneously.

If Production Planning is your timekeeping mode – see the topic Production Planning Timekeeping Tutorials.

💡These tutorials explain how to record and edit timekeeping for work and travel, and the extra features the mobile app provides.

Tap means tap the screen, or left-click with your mouse if you use a computer.
