Production Planning - Outwork Tutorial

Overview

Production Planning assists organisations in managing all their production tasks.  The Outwork Interface displays the status of all outsourced jobs.

These tutorials explain how to display and edit Outwork.

How to Display a List of Outwork

  1. Navigate to Production Planning > Menu (button) > Outwork.
  2. Adjust the filters as required.
  3. Click View (button).

How to Change Outwork Item Statuses

  1. Display a list of outwork.
  2. Select the entries you want to change. Use Ctrl left click to select multiple entries.
  3. Click Actions (button) > Batch Update.
  4. Select Status (Item) next to Update.
  5. Select a Status on the dropdown list.
  6. Click Update (button).
  7. Confirm the change on the popup.

How to View Outwork by Due Dates

  1. Navigate to Outwork.
  2. Select a Date Option next to Set.
  3. Click the Radio Button next to Due Date.
  4. Click View (button).

How to View Outwork by Required Dates

  1. Navigate to Outwork.
  2. Select a Date Option next to Set (other than No Date).
  3. Click the Radio Button next to Req Date.
  4. Click View (button).

How to View Outwork Item Statuses by Date

  1. Navigate to Outwork.
  2. Select a Date Option next to Set (other than No Date).
  3. Click the block next to Show and select All, Outstanding, or Complete.
  4. Click View (button).

How to Create Multiple Purchase Orders

ℹ️ If the option is not there, add a transaction type to the Transaction Setting: Production Planning > Transaction Used for Purchases.

  1. Display a list of outwork entries.
  2. Select all the applicable entries.
  3. Click Actions (button) > Purchase Orders.
  4. Confirm that you want to create the Purchase Orders.
  5. If a transaction was successfully created for an entry, its number is filled in in the Last PO column.
  6. The created transactions can be seen by right clicking an entry and selecting Open Last PO from the context menu.
