Statement of Financial Position
Overview
The Statement of Financial Position provides a snapshot of an entity's assets, liabilities, and equity at a specific point in time. Up to 12 periods can be displayed side-by-side.
The percentage field can be used to view the change from one period to the next. Positive changes are shown in green and negative changes are in red.

Buttons Explained
- View: Generates a Statement of Financial Position based on the selected date fields.
- Output: Outputs PDF documents which can be printed, previewed, or emailed. There must be dates displayed next to the top-row buttons (select a date from the filters and click View (button)). If there are no dates displayed, an error message is returned that the report cannot be generated. The available reports are:
- Financial Statements
- Statement of Financial Position
- Statement of Profit or Loss - 12 Periods
- Statement of Profit or Loss - 2 Periods
- Statement of Profit or Loss - 3 Periods
- Statement of Profit or Loss - 6 Periods
- Statement of Profit or Loss - Fin Year
- Menu:
- Reset Data Filters: Resets any changes to the data filters.
- Column Auto Width: Automatically adjusts the columns to fit the data and screen.
- Hide decimal values: Toggles showing or hiding decimal values.

Filters Explained
- Set: Options to select preset dates (e.g. Fin Year).
- ⬅➡: Adjusts the dates forwards or backwards depending on the option chosen under Set.
- Dates: Allows users to customise the dates for which the report is generated.
- Report: A dropdown list with custom-created Accounting Reports.
- %: A dropdown list allowing users to display:
- None: No percentage changes.
- Change: The percentage change from the period on the left to the period on the right.
- Revenue: Not applicable to this report.
- Budget: Shows the amounts budgeted for the selected period.
- This option is only available if the date is set to Fin Year (Months) and a budget is selected.
- Show all Accounts: A checkbox. If checked all the accounts are displayed, including those with zero balances.
Fields Explained
- Description: Name of the Account grouped by category.
- Date Fields: A column for every option chosen when setting the data filters, including:
- Date: The ledger balance of the account as at that specific date.
- Change: The % change (either from the previous month or from the budget). Positive changes are shown in green and negative changes in red.
- Budget: The amount budgeted for that period.
- Menu (...): A context menu with the following options:
- Full Expand: Expands the tree view to show all the accounts.
- Full Collapse: Collapses the tree view to only show the main categories.
- Add Financial Statements Notes: Opens an interface allowing a note to be typed. The note can be viewed and edited from the Dashboard.
- View Detailed Ledger: Opens the selected account's detailed ledger.
