Assets

Overview

This data type is used to record Assets including Machines, Equipment, Furniture & Fittings, Vehicles. The functionality can be used to maintain your own Assets or to manage Assets that are sold or rented out.

Fields

• Type - See description below
• Make
• Model
• Date Manufactured
• Date Purchased
• Meter data
  • Enable - When checked, the Meter readings will be displayed on the form.
  • Unit - eg. Count, Hours, Km, etc. In addition

Types

• Machine - Identified by Serial No.
• Equipment - Identified by Serial No.
• Furniture and Fittings - Identified by Serial No.
• Vehicles - Identified by Serial No. and  Reg No.

Item fields

• Description - Generated according to the Class setting.
• Code - Generated by the Reg No. for Vehicles or the Serial No. for other Assets
