How to Set Up Your Dashboard

Note

The Dashboard does not open until Rows, Columns and Reports are set. A message names the missing setting.

  1. Find the IDs of the reports to show: in Edit Reports (Custom Reports > Menu (button) > Edit Reports), the ID column lists them.
  2. Navigate to Main Menu > Setup > Settings > Users (tab) and double-click the user.
  3. Set these user settings:
    • General > Dashboard – Rows = Enter the number of rows.
    • General > Dashboard – Columns = Enter the number of reports in each row.
    • General > Dashboard – Reports = Enter the report IDs, separated by commas, for example, 1,2,3. The reports fill the rows from left to right.
    • General > Dashboard – Automatic Refresh = Check it to refresh the reports every five minutes while the Dashboard is open.
  4. Save the settings and open the Dashboard.

How to Arrange and Save the Layout

  1. Select Menu (button) > Customise Layout.
  2. Drag the splitters between the reports to resize them. Use each chart's menu to show its category and series captions.
  3. Select Menu (button) > Save Layout.
  4. Select Menu (button) > Customise Layout again to turn customising off.
    • Note: To go back to your saved layout, select Menu (button) > Restore Layout.

How to Refresh the Dashboard

  • Click Refresh (button) to refresh all the reports.
  • With Dashboard – Automatic Refresh checked, the reports refresh every five minutes while the Dashboard is open.
