Enhancements
Look and Feel - The Status bar has been reworked on all modules that have one. (This change is mostly to remove a technical constraint.)
Item Summary > Transactions - A separate Trans and No. field have been added to the Transactions grid, hidden by default.
Service Manager > Transactions - Status, Trans and No. columns have been added, hidden by default. Functionality has been added to Menu (btn) > Export Transactions...
VAT Recon - You are now able to add transactions using the Add button and a modal lookup which frees up space for the Transaction grid view. The summaries are now always visible and have been moved to the right-panel.
Inventory Enhancements
Replenishment - A Show Movement filter has been added. When checked the Issue and Receive columns are populated - it also adds overhead and slows down the query. (Previously the Issue and Receive columns were only populated when a date filter was set)
Inventory - The Filter bar was adjusted to use two Rows to better support half-screen on FHD.
Items > Dependencies Enhancements
A Link column has been added to display the Linked Item or Costing - formats:
- COST 232 - Item is linked to a Costing transaction
- ITM 232 (CST) - Item is linked to an Item Costing
- ITM 232 (OPT) - Item is linked to an Item Costing as an Option. (When Variables and Options are enabled)
When you add Items to Costings from the Dependencies tab, you can now select to add them as Material (MAT) or Assembly (ASM).
A Type (CST) column has been added to show MAT or ASM.
The Costing column has been renamed to Status (CST).
The Status column has been renamed to Status (ITM).
A Key has been added next to the Actions button:
- Key: CST: Costing; ITM: Item
Transaction Enhancements
The Status Note now remains editable on read-only transactions - in Transaction modules and in the Ledger.
A Copy Date column has been added to the Transaction Copy Rule setup. Options include (You can select multiple options):
- Trans Date - Transaction Date
- Due Date
- Req Date - Required Date
Reminder: Refrain from adding conflicting settings that auto-update Due Date and Req Dat.
Copy Items from another Transaction - An item Code column has been added to the lookup grid.
Production Planning Enhancements
The Task Scheduling now also supports linear BoMS, similar to the way Groups & Tasks work. i.e. All the Services in a BoM are on one level and the order matches the Planning Board Stages order. Multiple Tasks per Stage is not allowed for this model.
The Workshift scheduling table is now updated from 1 year back to 10 years forward. (Previously it was only 1 month back). You need to Rebuild Shifts to implement.
The following error messages, executed on the View button click events, have been added to trap incomplete setups when the module is opened:
- Job View / Tasks View / Board Views - Transaction Setting - Production Planning > Enable Tasks in Production Planning = Empty.
- Materials View - Transaction Setting - Transaction Setting - Production Planning > Enable Materials in Production Planning = Empty.
- Outwork View - Transaction Setting - Transaction Setting - Production Planning > Enable Outwork in Production Planning = Empty.
Status is now explicitly ordered as follows: Busy > Part Complete > Ready > Planned > Pending.
Dashboard View
The following options have been added to the Capacity Charts Date Filter:
- Job Due Date - This was the previous default
- Task Start Date
Board View
The Order by Status now orders Tasks in the following order: Busy > Part-complete > Ready > Planned
The global actions to re-order all Stages have been removed from the Board View.
Fixes
Fixed: The Upgrade script was not upgrading the Planning Board task Status correctly.
Fixed: Production - Groups and Tasks - When a Group was set to Complete, the Part-complete tasks were not set to Complete.
Fixed: Pricing Module - The Find Panel is now hidden by default.
Fixed: Transactions > Estimating - You were not able to edit the Item Specification for General Estimates.
Fixed: Production Planning - Jobs View - The Filter pairs were not working correctly.
Optimisation - The Inventory queries were optimised to improve performance in the Inventory module and other modules that display Inventory values. (Especially: Inventory - Default View when date selected)
Multi-line messages have been tidied up - Estimating and Production Planning.
