Inventory Reports - Replenishment
Overview
Inventory - Replenishment provides a snapshot of upcoming inventory changes and offers a quick way to order stock to meet the minimum stock holding requirements.
The following fields are set up in the Items module: Inventory (tab).
- Lead Days: The number of days from placing an order to receiving the goods.
- Min Qty: The minimum quantity you need to have in stock (the quantity that you sell over a period equal to the lead days above, plus a small buffer).
- Re-order Qty: The quantity that you order when you replenish stock. This will determine how long your buying cycle is.

Buttons Explained
- View: Generates a Replenishment Report based on the selected filters.
- Actions > Replenishment Options:
- Purchase Orders (INV) (PO-INV): Creates Purchase Orders for the selected transactions.
- Work Orders (WO): Creates Work Orders for the selected transactions.
- Output: Available upon request.

Filters Explained
- Set: Lists various date options (e.g. Today and No Date to view all the entries).
- ⬅ ➡: Adjusts the date in the direction of the arrow.
- Date: Allows custom dates to be entered.
- Customer: A dropdown list of customers, allowing users to view All or a specific Customer.
- Category: A dropdown list of categories allowing users to view All or a specific Category.
- Location: A dropdown list of locations allowing users to view All or a specific Location. The Location Filter only displays locations linked to the user's Entity. If the user is not linked to an entity, all the locations are available.
- Active: A checkbox that, if checked, only shows inventory items that have an Active status.
- Outstanding: Displays items that have been ordered but not yet received.
- Show Movement: When checked the Issue and Receive columns are populated. Warning: checking this box slows down the query.
Fields Explained
- Field Chooser (*): Allows users to add or remove columns.
- ID: A system-generated number for the inventory item.
- Status (Location): The Status of the inventory item's location.
- Category: The inventory item's Category.
- Description: A description of the inventory item.
- Code: The inventory item's Code.
- Unit (Base): An abbreviation describing the item's Base Unit.
- Location: The Location of the inventory item.
- Customer: The name of the Customer that is linked to the inventory item.
- Subcategory: The inventory item's Subcategory.
- Bin No: The inventory item's Bin Number.
- Ave/Month: The average quantity used in a month.
- Suggested: The suggested minimum quantity.
- Min Qty: The Minimum Quantity that was filled in on the inventory item's Inventory (tab). This field is highlighted in red when it is greater than the available quantity.
- Reorder: The Reorder Quantity that was filled in on the inventory item's Inventory (tab).
- In Stock: The quantity that is currently In Stock.
- On Order: The quantity that has been ordered but not yet received. The Quantity is generated from Active Purchase or Work Orders if the item's Resolve setting = order.
- Reserved: The quantity that is reserved for pending customer orders. This is generated from Active Sales and Work Orders if the item's Resolve setting = reserve.
- Available (Inc Orders): The quantity that is available, including orders as shown in the On Order column.
- Available (Exc Orders): The quantity that is available, excluding orders as shown in the On Order column.
- Received: When a Date Period is selected, it shows the Quantity received (e.g. Goods Received) in that period.
- Issued: When a Date Period is selected, it shows the Quantity issued (e.g. Goods Issued) in that period.
- Unit Price: The Stock Price of the inventory item.
- Value: The Value of the Inventory on hand (unit price x quantity). If the value is negative (due to a negative quantity in stock) the value is shown in red.
- Source: The source from which the goods will be procured.
- Resolve: The action that was taken (e.g. produce, purchase).
- Min Order Qty: The Minimum Quantity that can be ordered at a time.
- Unit (Trans): The item's Unit used in the transaction.
- Price: (Price Local / Base Unit): The unit price of the base unit in the local currency.
- Menu (...): A submenu that can also be accessed by right clicking an item:
- Open Item: Opens the item's setup page.
- View Item Summary: Displays a summary of the item's activity.
