Inventory Reports - Ageing

Overview

This report shows how long inventory has been kept in stock. It pinpoints inventory that is just sitting on the shelves.

Each receipt into stock is placed in an age column by the calendar month it was received in.
Issues are deducted from the oldest receipts first, so the quantity left in each column is the stock still on hand from that period.
The columns show quantities. The chart shows values: the quantity multiplied by the item's unit price at that location.
Only items with stock on hand are listed: one row for each item and location.

Button	Description
View	Generates an Inventory Ageing Report based on the selected filters.
Output	Available upon request.

Filter	Description
Category	Select All or a specific category.

Field	Description
Field Chooser (*)	Add or remove columns.
Stock ID	A system-generated number for the item at that location.
Category	The inventory item's Category.
Subcategory	The inventory item's Subcategory.
Description	A Description of the inventory item.
Reference	The inventory item's Reference.
Code	The inventory item's Code.
Location	The Location of the inventory item.
Age Columns	The quantity on hand from receipts in each period: 30 days: This month. 60 days: Last month. 90 days: Two months ago. 120 days: Three months ago. 180 days: Four and five months ago. 1 year: Six to 12 months ago. 2 years: 13 to 24 months ago. 3 years: 25 to 36 months ago. 4 years: 37 to 48 months ago. 4+ years: Longer ago. Total: The total quantity on hand (all the columns together).
Menu (...)	A submenu that can also be accessed by right-clicking an item: Open Item: Opens the item's setup page. Open Item Dashboard: Displays a Summary of the item's activity.

A graphical representation of the inventory ageing data: the value of the stock on hand in each age period, for the category selected.
