Inventory Reports - Accounting

Overview

Inventory - Accounting provides the same information as the Ledger. This view is limited to those accounts that are used in inventory transactions.

Navigation: Main Menu > Procurement > Inventory > Menu (button) > Accounting.

Buttons Explained

  • View: Generates an extract from the ledger based on the selected filters.
  • Output: Available upon request.

Filters Explained

  • Date: Users can select a Date option from the dropdown list. Depending on the chosen option, Start and End Dates for the report can be set in the provided blocks.
  • ⬅ ➡ : Adjusts the date field depending on the option chosen next to Date.
  • Account: A dropdown list of Inventory Accounts for users to select a specific account.

Fields Explained

  • Field Chooser (*): Allows users to add or remove columns.
  • Trans: A description of the transaction (e.g. SI-Inv).
  • No.: The transaction's system-generated number.
  • Item No.: The system-generated item number of the transaction.
  • Status: The Status of the transaction.
  • Date: The Date of the original transaction.
  • Code: The inventory item's Code.
  • Description: A Description of the inventory item.
  • Category: The inventory item's Category.
  • Dr Acc: The account that was Debited.
  • Cr Acc: The account that was Credited.
  • Type: The type of item (e.g. ITM for item or CTM for custom item)
  • Qty: The item's Quantity.
  • Unit: A description of the item's Unit.
  • Trans Price: The transaction's value.
  • Currency: The transaction's Currency.
  • Stock Price: The item's Stock Price.
  • Variance: The difference between the Transaction and Stock Prices.
  • Debit: The amount that was Debited.
  • Credit: The amount that was Credited.
  • Balance: The Ledger Account's balance.
  • Menu (...): A submenu that can also be accessed by right-clicking an item:
    • Open Transaction: Opens the original transaction.
    • Open Item: Opens the item's setup page.
    • Open Item Dashboard: Displays a Summary of the item's activity.
